JMCHS requires disclosure of any financial, personal, or professional relationships that could be perceived to influence the objectivity of a submitted manuscript, a peer review, or an editorial decision.

●       Authors must disclose funding sources, financial relationships, and any other potential conflicts in a dedicated Declarations section of every manuscript

●       Reviewers must decline to review any manuscript where a personal, financial, or professional conflict exists

●       Editors with a conflict of interest regarding a submitted manuscript (e.g., co-authorship, institutional overlap, personal relationship) must recuse themselves and hand the decision to another editor

●       Guest/handling editors for special issues are subject to the same disclosure requirements as regular editors
