JMCHS is a peer-reviewed journal dedicated to public health and community medicine research with particular relevance to South Asia and comparable low- and middle-income settings. It publishes original research, systematic reviews, policy analyses, and field reports on epidemiology, disease surveillance, maternal and child health, nutrition, health systems strengthening, environmental and occupational health, health education, and community-based interventions. The journal aims to generate locally relevant evidence to inform public health policy and practice while remaining of value to a global community health readership.
